Welcome to The Washington Avenue Green Sheet. My name is Brian McGowan. I started The Washington Avenue Green Sheet in 2003. Downtown was getting remade and it seemed like no media was letting the locals know what was happening. The first Washington Avenue Green Sheet was a simple letter size sheet of paper. I delivered 500 Green Sheets between Tucker and 14th Street on Washington Avenue. The next morning someone called about 8am and said. “What do I have to do to be in the Washington Avenue Green Sheet?
\nI decided to continue with the Green Sheet.
\nI hope everyone finds it useful on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

We print on recycled paper and we also recycle the Green Sheet.
\nThe Washington Avenue Green Sheet is published every two weeks in St. Louis, Missouri.
